Neighborhood Watch Program
The B.I.A. has organized a Neighborhood Watch Program. Fighting crime takes the effort of each individual neighbor. Officer Tran, the NOPD Neighborhood Watch Coordinator, has taught us how to organize block by block to fight crime. He has given us tips on securing our homes and other defensive measures to lessen our chances of becoming victims.
The Bouligny Improvement Association has completed all four of the required meetings with Officer Tran and we have ordered Neighborhood Watch Signs to post on our streets.
